ZTE New Smart watch Q2 will Be Launched in 2014. Chinese Smartphone making Company ZTEannounced their first Smartwatch. Releasing of ZTE Smartwatch possible in 2104.

 

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, the company’s handset marketing strategist Lu Qianhao revealed that the device should be available in the second quarter of 2014.

Little detail was divulged about the technical features of the smartwatch, but Qianhao did mention that the device would only work with ZTE’s own smartphones.

The device will only be available in China to begin with, before moving on to the US and Europe sometime after.

Qianhao said that the smartwatch will offer similar technological features to existing products such as the Galaxy Gear, but at a lower price to focus on the mainstream market.

It was also revealed that ZTE is looking into other technology, such as smart glasses and smartphone-connected shoes for the healthcare sector.
